Youth Council Application

Do you want to Educate Your Community about epilepsy?

Do you want to be Empowered by Your New Connections?

Do you want to be a part of one of the greatest groups ever in the epilepsy movement?

If you answered yes, then you want to be part of the Epilepsy Foundation's National Youth Council!

The Council is currently accepting applications for new members, aged 18 - 24 from across the United States to serve as ambassadors and public spokespersons for our mission, state and national representatives, and epilepsy community leaders at the local level.

We are looking for new members who are passionate about improving the lives of people with epilepsy, either because you have it yourself, someone you love has it, or because it's just something you really care about.  We are also looking for dedicated leaders who have, or are currently, making a difference in the epilepsy community.

Although we wish we could be in every community in the country, we can't, and that's were you can help!

For an application packet, please contact the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Southern Illinois by phone at (618) 236-2181 or by email at ellenepilepsy@sbcglobal.net.  Packets must be submitted to the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Southern Illinois office at 140 Iowa Ave, Belleville, Illinois 62220, by October 23, 2009.
