Epilepsy Foundation Camp Roehr 2010

Camp Roehr took place from June 13th through June 19th and was held at Hickory Shores Resort in Carlyle, Illinois.  Camp Roehr is a week long residential camp for children and teens with epilepsy.  This year there were 16 campers, 21 camp counselors, and professional staff in attendance.  Camp Roehr provided campers with two swimming pools, miniature golf, visits from the Critter Professor (click here for an article about Professor Critter's visit to Camp Roehr) and the KahoK Indian Dancers, basketball, fishing, waterball, a game room, and many other activities and tournaments.  This year we also had the Breakfast for Dinner band as part of the festivities.

Camp Roehr is an annual event filled with new adventures each year!  Camp Roehr is held every summer in June.  To get your name on the mailing list for 2011 Camp Roehr or for more information, contact Trudy Baxter, Camp Director, at (618) 236-2181 ext. 104, or visit our website at www.efgreatersil.org.
